- Apple Pay
If you choose the payment method "Apple Pay" from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment processing takes place via the "Apple Pay" function of your device running iOS, watchOS, or macOS by debiting a payment card stored in "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security features integrated into your device's hardware and software to protect your transactions. To approve a payment, you will need to enter a previously set code and verify it using the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function of your device.
For the purpose of payment processing, your information provided during the order process, along with information about your order, is passed on to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then re-encrypts this data with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay for the purpose of payment. The encryption ensures that only the website where the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm payment success.
If personal data is processed during the described transfers, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
Apple retains anonymized transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, approximate date and time, and whether the transaction was successfully completed. Anonymization completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymized data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services.
If you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase you made via Safari on your Mac, your Mac and the authorization device communicate over an encrypted channel on Apple servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can identify you. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and disable "Allow Payments on Mac".

9.1 Meta Pixel with Extended Data Matching
Within our online offering, we use the "Meta Pixel" service from the following provider in extended data matching mode: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta")
If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us on Facebook or Instagram, the URL of our linked page is extended by a parameter using "Meta Pixel". This URL parameter is then entered into the user's browser after redirection by a cookie that our linked page itself sets. In addition, this cookie collects specific customer data such as the email address, which we collect on our website linked to the Facebook or Instagram advertisement during processes such as purchases, account logins, or registrations (extended data matching). The cookie is then read out and enables the transmission of the data, including the specific customer data, to Meta.
We use "Meta Pixel" with extended data matching to make our advertisements ("Ads") on Facebook and/or Instagram more effective and to ensure that they correspond to the interests of the users or have certain characteristics (e.g., interests in certain topics or products, which are determined based on the visited websites) that we transmit to Meta ("Custom Audiences").
Furthermore, we analyze the effectiveness of our advertisements by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on an advertisement (conversion). Compared to the standard version of "Meta Pixel," the extended data matching function helps us to better measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns by recording more assigned conversions.
All transmitted data is stored and processed by Meta, so that an assignment to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Meta's data usage policies (https://www.facebook.com
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading out information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your given consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.
The information generated by Meta is usually transferred to a Meta server and stored there; in this context, a transfer to Meta Platforms Inc. servers in the USA may also occur.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European data protection level based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

This allows the creation of statistics on user behavior on our website after redirection from an advertisement, which serves to optimize our offer.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the terminal device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. To increase the protection of your data when visiting our website, the plugins are initially deactivated using a "2-click" or "Shariff" solution.
This integration ensures that no connection to the provider's servers is established when you access a page of our website that contains such plugins.
Only when you activate the plugins and thereby give your consent to the data transfer in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, does your browser establish a direct connection to the provider's servers. In this process, certain information about your terminal device (including your IP address), your browser, and your page history is transmitted to the provider and, if applicable, further processed there, regardless of whether you are logged into an existing user profile.
If you are logged into an existing user profile on the provider's social network, information about interactions carried out via the plugins will also be published there and displayed to your contacts.
You can revoke your consent at any time by deactivating the activated plugin again by clicking on it. However, the revocation does not affect data that has already been transferred to the provider.
Data may also be transferred to: Meta Platforms Inc., USA
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized transfer to third parties.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.
10.3 Google Maps
This website uses an online map service from the following provider: Google Maps (API) from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”).
Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (country) maps to visually represent geographical information. By using this service, our location is displayed to you and any travel to us is facilitated.
Already when accessing the subpages on which the Google Maps map is embedded, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to Google servers and stored there; this may also involve a transfer to Google LLC. servers in the USA. This happens regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether a user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not wish the assignment to your profile on Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them.
The collection, storage and evaluation are carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of Google's legitimate interest in displaying personalized advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of Google websites. You have a right to object to the creation of these user profiles, for the exercise of which you must contact Google. If you do not agree to the future transfer of your data to Google within the scope of using Google Maps, there is also the option of completely deactivating the Google Maps web service by switching off the JavaScript application in your browser. Google Maps and thus also the map display on this website can then not be used.
Insofar as legally required, we have obtained your consent for the processing of your data described above in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your given consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please follow the possibility described above to object.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

10.4 Google Maps API
To enable real-time verification of certain entries in the address form of our webshop's ordering process for input errors, we use the services of the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland
Data may also be transmitted to: Google LLC., USA
The provider validates the entered address, verifies the spelling and, if necessary, adds missing data. For ambiguous addresses, correct alternative suggestions are displayed. For this purpose, the address data entered by you is transmitted to the provider, stored and evaluated there.
This processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the proper recording of correct customer address data for the diligent fulfillment of our contractual delivery obligations and to prevent problems with contract execution.
The provider processes the affected data separately and does not combine it with other data sets, and deletes it as soon as its status or correctness has been confirmed, but at the latest after 30 days.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

10.5 - Google reCAPTCHA
On this website, we use the CAPTCHA service of the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland
Data may also be transmitted to: Google LLC, USA.
For the visual design of the captcha window, the provider uses "Google Fonts", i.e., fonts loaded from the internet by Google. No further information beyond that already transmitted to Google via the ReCaptcha functionality is processed here.
The service checks whether an entry is made by a natural person or maliciously by machine and automated processing, and blocks spam, DDoS attacks and similar automated harmful access. To ensure that an action is performed by a human and not by an automated bot, the provider collects the IP address of the terminal device used, identification data of the browser and operating system type used, as well as the date and duration of the visit, and transmits these to the provider's servers for evaluation. Cookies may be used here, i.e. small text files that are stored in the browser of the terminal device.
If the processing described above is carried out on the basis of cookies, these will only be set if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your given consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.
If the processing described above is carried out without the use of cookies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in determining individual responsibility on the Internet and preventing abuse and spam in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

10.6 Google Translate
This website uses the translation service "Google Translate" from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”) via an API integration. So that the translation is automatically displayed according to your choice of a national language, the browser you are using connects to Google's servers. In this process, certain browser information, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google.
Google may use so-called "cookies", i.e. small text files that are stored on your end device, to save the language settings. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including the shortened IP address) is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there.
In the processing described above, data may also be transmitted to Google LLC. servers in the USA.
If cookies are also set when using Google Translate, the processing described above will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

10.7 Shopsync for Shopify
This website uses the Shopify app "Shopsync" from ShopSync LLC, PO Box 252, Jefferson City, TN 37760, USA.
With the help of ShopSync, the newsletter service "Mailchimp" is synchronized with our Shopify account in such a way that, on the one hand, updates in Mailchimp's email lists (e.g. an opt-out by a newsletter recipient) are automatically stored on Shopify, and on the other hand, new contact data generated via contracts on Shopify is automatically transferred to Mailchimp's email lists.
In the first case, data processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the effective and cross-system maintenance of advertising recipient databases and the efficient consideration of legally relevant status changes.
In the second case, only with the explicit consent of the user in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, after a contract has been concluded on Shopify, the user's first and last name, address, and email address, along with transaction-related information (purchase amount, time and date of purchase), are transferred by ShopSync to Mailchimp for inclusion in the Mailchimp list.
Data transferred in this way is not stored or retained by ShopSync after synchronization. All information synchronized between Shopify and Mailchimp is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, and all transmitted information remains encrypted during the synchronization process.
The synchronization process requires the transfer of information over a secure connection to servers hosted by Amazon Web Services in the USA.
Further data protection information about ShopSync can be found here: https://www.shop-sync.com

Another legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. As the data controller, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically unnecessary cookies dependent on the respective user's consent.
Where necessary, we have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.
